Greetings

I'm a PhD candidate in Linguistics at University of Arizona. I am a member of CLU Lab, advised by Steven Bethard. I am also working with Masha Fedzechkina on psycholinguistic projects. Prior to this, I obtained a master degree in Evolution of Language and Cognition at the University of Edinburgh.

I am both a psycholinguist and NLPer. My main research focuses on exploring the differences of statistical learning between human learners and computational learners. Specifically, I want to explore whether the two types of statistical learners acquire and generalize linguistic information in the same way.

Current Research Interest
  • Probe the linguistic information acquired in neural representations
  • Investigate linguistic generalizations via artificial language experimentation
  • Transfer social cognitions to neural models

Updates
